Who We Are

Building Stronger Communities for a Better Future.

Rebuilding Sierra Leone Together

Jayden Malik Kargbo Foundation

The Jayden Malik Kargbo Foundation was born from a deep desire to give back to the people of Sierra Leone. Founded by Jayden Malik Kargbo, who relocated to Australia in 2007 to pursue higher education, the foundation brings together passionate individuals committed to sustainable development across Sierra Leonean communities. Together, we work to address critical challenges, empower youth, and strengthen families, one community at a time.

Our Mission

To restore dignity, safety, and opportunity by supporting youth through scholarships, job training, and vocational development—while addressing community needs such as food access and clean water. Through holistic support that combines education, nourishment, and skills-building, we empower individuals and families to rebuild their lives and thrive.

Our Vision

We envision a Sierra Leone where every individual has access to education, safety, and a future free from poverty. By building empowered communities—especially for youth and families—we aim to break generational cycles of hardship and create a stronger, more hopeful nation.

Improving the lives of vulnerable youth and communities in Sierra Leone.

Our Values:

  • Respect: We foster mutual trust and dignity.

  • Inclusion: Youth voices and diverse perspectives guide our work.

  • Transparency: Honesty and accountability are at our core.

  • Innovation: We find smarter, more effective ways to create impact.

  • Collaboration: Working together strengthens our efforts.

  • Integrity: We uphold the highest ethical standards in everything we do.

Our Leadership Team

This wealth of experience laid the foundation for the Jayden Malik Kargbo Foundation, an organization born from his unwavering desire to give back to his home country of Sierra Leone. The foundation focuses on educational access, youth vocational training, clean water projects, food distribution, and poverty alleviation through community led initiatives.

Jayden’s leadership is anchored in the belief that every person deserves to live with dignity, purpose, and opportunity. Through the foundation, he is turning that belief into action, one student, one family, and one community at a time.
